1 Corinthians 3:16 says, "Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" Because His Spirit dwells within us, we've not only been made as a temple for His presence - We've also been qualified as ministers. We were created to be priests of His presence and one of the great privelages we have as ministers is to pray for people. In this sermon, Pastor Jamey gives practical steps for engaging in personal ministry and reminds us that if you step out to minister to people, God's presence and glory will touch their lives!
God wants to do great things in your life! His calling is what qualifies us and He's inviting each of us into the journey of putting our feet to His promises. Listen in as Pastor Jamey VanGelder gives insight into the history of the Minnesota River Valley as well as the prophetic timings of the Lord in our region today. God is doing incredible works of restoration, all in His perfect timing.
Hebrews 12:1-2: "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
As we run the race set before us it's key that we fix our eyes upon Jesus. In doing so each day, He will make our path straight and make Himself known to us in even greater ways.
Listen as Pastor Jamey VanGelder shares a powerful message based out of Isaiah 61. We have been marked by God to bring present happenings of goodness wherever we go, that the afflicted would hear the good news of the Gospel and that people would experience freedom - And not only that others might experience freedom but that we would be free ourselves!
It's been an honor having Josh Yeoh with us over the past few weeks! Listen as Josh stirs up remembrance towards our house of prayer roots and looks at the life of David as an example of intimacy and faithfulness in pursuing and hosting the presence of God.
